2023 Merchandise Outlet Gift Guide

Don’t we all wish we were the person who got their Christmas shopping done before December 1st? If you’re like most of us, you might still be in need of some ideas. Stop by a store (or two) to see where inspiration strikes. My favorite thing to buy at Merchandise Outlet are the delightfully unexpected stocking stuffers. However, I went into the Mt. Pleasant store yesterday and found some great gifts that will truly wow the loved ones on your list:

For the handyman in your life:

Need I say more? You could also include work gloves with a musky-scented hand lotion. Hard working folks should be pampered, too.

For the friend or family member who loves to entertain:

  • You can’t go wrong with wine in a nice bag. This red one made me chuckle.
  • Kitchen upgrades! I found a set of cute ceramic salt & pepper cellars next to kitchen spray bottles, which are perfect for marinades and dressings.

For the sweet kiddos who are just growing up so fast:

  • Toys that make learning fun. How cute are these letter toys?
  • Activity sets! I was juggling about 4 different boxes at once, filled with fun ideas like “paint your own fishing kit” and “create your own bike decorations kit” all for less than $5. What a fun thing for them to do with their favorite grown ups; I’m convinced that’s all they really want, anyway.

For the sister or friend who loves to relax with a good book:

  • If they’ve been really nice this year, maybe this cozy outdoor chair for $199? These are available to pick up now in a few stores, or can be requested.
  • Candles are always a good bet. I spent about five minutes sniffing candles the size of a toddler’s head. They come in scents like “Rose Sandalwood” and “Lemon La Mer.” Swoon!

For the hard to shop for crowd:

  • Most often, my favorite gifts are consumables or experiences. You can pick up a MO gift card, snacks in a basket, or make a date to wander the aisles together.

We wish you luck in your shopping, and the happiest, coziest Christmas and New Year!
